Snow! Watch and Necklace

Can you believe we had snow way down here in Southern Alabama!  It was so exciting and beautiful!  I went to work and after being there for about 45 minutes my boss brought me my paycheck and told me I could leave in two hours.  I just sat there by myself watching the snow fall.  I did not have any customers come into my store.  I know for you people who live up North the amount of snowfall we got was nothing.  But here, where we have snow every 10 to 12 years, it was a big event!  Business' were closed all over town and the kids were out of school.
Here I am out in the snow.  My sister-in-law asked me if I was wearing just socks!  It does kinda look that way, but I do have on my shoes that I wear to work, too!
Would you look at these two!  Keith was looking blah and I said I was gonna post this picture and tell people he was sad cause there was no school! hahaha  Amber decided to try and match his look.  Actually they were both excited about the snow!  Keith was just really tired after staying up really late.
This I took while looking outside the window where I work.
This is a band I made for an old watch of mine.  I had gotten this watch years ago.  It is a Pillsbury Doughboy watch.  It had the cutest band with the Doughboy on it but it broke.  I had the watch in a box for years.  Then a few weeks ago I found it and decided to crochet a band for it.  There is a button on it that you can push and the Doughboy will tell you the time and giggle.  I just love it!
Here is an overall view of my watch!
This is the first crocheted necklace I have ever made!  I made it to wear for Valentines Day.  I think it turned out very well.  The pictures are not that great as I took them with my computer.
It was a great Valentines Day.  We went to church and just relaxed the rest of the day.  My kind of day!
