BIRTHDAY & BRACELET

My birthday was this past Friday.  It is hard for me to believe I am now 52 years old!  Time sure has flown!  It seems like I should still be in my 20's.  hahaha  I can wish, can't I?!
My husband bought me a beautiful cake and he and two of my children sang Happy Birthday to me.  My daughter, Tara, had not gotten off work and we had to go ahead and have cake as my husband had to go to work.  After the kids are grown it just seems to never work out to get everyone together at a certain time.

My son, and his two friends sang Happy Birthday to me later that night.  Of course, Keith is on the left, his friend, Daniel, is on the right and his friend, Phillip, is the one playing the guitar.  I walked into the house from putting clothes into the washer and they were waiting there and started singing.  I was so surprised!  It was so sweet!

Here is a Romanian Lace Bracelet I made.  I think it turned out pretty good.  I love the thread I used.  It is called Autumn Apple Pie.

My 50th Birthday!

This new way of uploading pictures threw me for a loop, but I really like it!  It will just take getting used to.

It is hard for me to believe it is my 50th birthday today!  I really don't feel that old!

Hubby baked me a birthday cake and iced it!  Here is a picture of him icing it.  This is the first time he has ever baked me a cake!

Here I am with the cake.  Notice the 0 in the 50?!  I always save all the number candles.  For some reason we did not have an 0 so I used a round M&M candle I had.  It worked and was cute!

Here I am in my Minnesota t-shirt.  My very best friend in the whole world sent it to me.  She moved to Minnesota a year and a half ago and I sure miss her!  If she were here we would be going to eat at our favorite Mexican restaurant.  Since she is not here she sent me the money so that hubby and I could go!  Is that not sweet or what?!!!

We had pot luck supper at church tonight.  Made for a fantastic birthday dinner!  My dear friend, Debra, brought me a cake!  And everyone sang Happy Birthday! 

Before we left for church my brother called me and sang Happy Birthday to me!

It has truely been a fantastic birthday!  Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes!
